DESCRIPTION:Click for Latest Location Information: http://semtechbizuk2011.semanticweb.com/sessionPop.cfm?confid=63&proposalid=4357\nThe widespread use of social platforms in contemporary organizations increases the amount of valuable content that is published. While Semantic Web technologies provide data integration capabilities the two major remaining challenges include real-time integration of social data and limit the information overload experienced by the knowledge workers through content personalization. This talk will present first results of ADVANSSE, a joint research project between DERI and Cisco systems, which aims to provide an efficient architecture for real-time integration of semantic data across various social platforms in a distributed organization. For efficiency, we propose a push approach that enables integration of RDF data based on SPARQL 1.1 Update queries distributed through an XMPP-based network. Further, we define appropriate techniques for information personalisation, taking into account the dynamics of Social Semantic Enterprise communities, which improve collaboration and enable knowledge workers to discover and access most relevant information published across the organization.\nThe talk will present:
\n
Requirements for formats and protocols that enable real-time integration of social semantic data across platforms in distributed organizations.\n
Analysis of existing formats for modelling dataset changes in RDF\n
Review of popular architectures and protocols for integration of data in distributed environments\n
An enterprise architecture based on existing standards that enables efficient real-time integration of social content in a distributed organization using Semantic Web technologies
